Your prescription is only the starting point. It tells us what correction your eyes need. It doesn’t tell us which frame will suit your prescription, how the lenses should sit in front of your eyes or whether you spend your day driving, working across three screens or doomscrolling. That’s the bit we work out with you.
A valid prescription from any optometrist is absolutely fine. We’ll check it, talk through anything useful and help you discover what you want from the new glasses.

No. If we’re making your glasses, we take the measurements we need with the chosen frame on your face. That matters more than a random number typed into a website.
Your prescription tells us the lens power. The frame-specific measurements tell us where those lenses need to sit so the glasses actually work properly.
